HOUSE OF LOVE is a non-secure Behavioral Health Residential treatment facility for

Adolescents and children ( Males 6-17 years old ). The residents must be diagnosed with Behavioral Health Illness

(B.H.I.) and need a safe, nurturing, community-based, professionally supervised environment to

assist them in furthering their treatment objective and help them acquire life skills that are essential for activities of daily living and eventual transitioning into the community.

House of Love L.L.C. offers a range of programs designed to address the unique needs of our

target population. Our programs include individual therapy, group therapy, family counseling, and educational support.

In our therapy sessions, licensed therapists work one-on-one with youth to address

specific emotional and behavioral issues. These personalized sessions help youth develop coping

strategies and achieve their personal goals. Group therapy provides a supportive environment

where youth can share experiences, build social skills, and learn from peers facing similar

challenges. These facilitated group sessions are essential for fostering a sense of community and mutual support.

Family counseling involves sessions with family members to improve communication, resolve

conflicts, and strengthen family dynamics. By involving families in the treatment process, we

ensure a supportive home environment that reinforces the progress made during therapy.

Our educational support program offers tailored academic assistance to help youth stay on track

with their education. This includes tutoring and collaboration with schools to address any

learning difficulties, ensuring that academic progress is not hindered by behavioral health challenges.

Target Population and Age Catagories

Our facility specifically caters to youth males aged 6-17 who require short-term behavioral

health support. We recognize that the developmental and emotional needs of children and

adolescents vary significantly across different age groups. Therefore, we focus on creating a

tailored approach to meet these needs effectively.

For children aged 6-10, our programs emphasize building foundational emotional and social

skills. At this stage, we focus on helping children understand and express their emotions in

healthy ways, develop positive relationships with peers and adults, and build self-esteem.

Activities are designed to be engaging and age-appropriate, incorporating play therapy and

creative arts to facilitate learning and growth.

For pre-adolescents aged 11-13, our approach shifts to address the unique challenges of early

adolescence. This includes managing the transition from childhood to adolescence, coping with

increased academic and social pressures, and navigating changes in identity and self-concept.

Our programs for this age group include more structured group therapy sessions, social skills

training, and educational support to help them succeed both personally and academically.

For adolescents aged 14-17, our focus is on preparing them for the transition to adulthood. This

involves addressing more complex emotional and behavioral issues, fostering independence, and

developing life skills that are essential for future success. We provide intensive individual

therapy, peer support groups, and life skills workshops that cover topics such as career planning,

financial literacy, and healthy relationships. Our goal is to empower these young individuals to

make informed decisions, set and achieve personal goals, and build resilience for the future.
